Fascinating with a Hint of Depression*

Interesting ideas are presented here. I feel like they might be a bit hyper optimistic in sort of the 'Flying Car of the Future' way. Nonetheless interesting.

* The depressing part is when he discusses the the Type I culture - Madonna, Arnold, blue jeans... please!?! Is that what we have to offer the Universe?

Interesting...

If nothing else, I think how this experience is documented makes for some interesting food for thought.

Past Life Possibilities

I've watched this before and I think it is very interesting. There are some really confounding moments in this that leave you sort of scratching your head. I'm open to the idea that there is some part of us that is continuous. At the very least I believe information is energetic and energy is continuous... something to consider. Watch it! I don't care it's 45 minutes long.

Expanding Earth Theory

Here's a very interesting little video... It does a good job at being interesting, maybe not valid but interesting. The narrator gets a little preachy, which sometimes is quite comical but sometimes I could do without it. It's a ten minute long video, but it's an entertaining ten minutes.

For Your Consideration / Speculation

So, I was browsing the internet for my much needed fix of weirdness and I came across this little gem of a photo over at earthfiles.com. I think this is a very intriguing situation that has been presented. There are two new crop formations in the image, but also, there is a ghost formation that still lingers from the year previous. If all formations are being produced through mechanical means ( board and rope ) then what is the mechanism in that process that alters the soil in such a way that it still modifies the growth of the crops a year later? Where's an easy answer from Occam's razor when you need it? There doesn't seem to be any simple conclusion here.
